
Henry Coolidge Chief Executive Officer A native of Gulfport, Mississippi, Henry Coolidge was appointed as CEO of Ballylumford’s Premier Power in March 2006. Immediately prior to that Henry held the position of Head of Power Development at Premier Power’s parent company BG Group located in Reading and was responsible for developing BG’s power investment strategy as well as sponsoring the development of power projects through BG’s regional structure. Henry has extensive and indeed global experience in the energy industry. Previous positions include Vice President Project Development for BG Tunisia based in Tunis; Country Head for China for Mirant Asia Pacific where he was based in the company’s Hong Kong regional headquarters; President of Southern Energy New England where he was responsible for the 1267MW power generation company serving the New England market; General Manager of the Power Generation Company of Trinidad and Tobago. He has also held positions at the Mississippi Power Company and Mississippi State University. Henry graduated Cum Laude from Mississippi State University in 1982 receiving a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering. He is married with one son.

Lesley Hogg Business Manager Lesley joined Premier Power in 2002 and is a member of the Senior Management Team. She has responsibility for Commercial, Finance, IT and Procurement. She is a Chartered Accountant and before joining Premier Power she worked as a Financial Accountant with the Police Service of Northern Ireland. Previous positions include Regional Finance Manager for the British Red Cross Society and Assistant Manager with PriceWaterhouseCoopers responsible for audit and training. Lesley is married with a young son and daughter and is a keen sports enthusiast playing both badminton and tennis.

Philip Flynn Development Manager Philip has been with Premier Power since 1985. He was involved in the development, constructions and commissioning of the CCGT facility. Before the CCGT project he was Commercial Engineer. Philip was born in Adis Ababa, Ethiopia where he lived until he was 11. He then moved to England and come to his family roots in Northern Ireland when he was 16. He holds a BSc Mechanical Engineering from Queens University Belfast and is married with 3 children.

Denis McBride Production Manager Denis began his career with Northern Ireland Electricity in 1987, moving to Premier Power as a result of privitisation in 1992. He has held various positions within the company progressing from 3rd to 2nd Engineer on to Production Engineer and then to his current position of Production Manager. Denis holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Queens University, Belfast. Former Ireland International Flanker, Denis played rugby for Ireland for 10 years from 1987-1997, winning a fantastic 32 caps. Denis is married with three children and continues to coach rugby for the Malone Minis.

David Watson Maintenance Manager Having completed a Mechanical Engineering degree from Manchester University, David joined Northern Ireland Electricity in 1984. David has worked in varying departments during his time in the electricity industry from operations to transmission and distribution to generation projects and maintenance. David was appointed Maintenance Manager of Premier Power’s Combined Cycle Gas Turbine facility in 2001 becoming Maintenance Manager of the whole site in 2003. David is married with two sons.
